Drop Ship made Easy

Drop Ship made Easy

We all wish our company were as large as Amazon, Auto Zone, or Advanced Auto but the truth is some can never compete.  The question is why try?  You can never keep up with the Jone’s just remember that the grass is never greener on the other side.  Just because they have massive Inventory does not guarantee massive sales.  You also must factor in the additional costs involved to keep a massive inventory in stock there is the cost of the product, the storage, the transportation, the handling, and the list goes on.  Why not just order product as you need it and let your supplier Drop Ship it directly to your customer?

What does Drop Ship mean?

It means that a business isn’t required to keep products in stock.  You make the sale collect the money and order the product from a third-party supplier (Stenten’s), and we then ship the order to your customer.  What makes this even better for you is that we drop ship “Blind” meaning that the return address shows your company name so as far as the customer is concerned the product shipped from your warehouse straight to them.

I know this sounds great and it is good but you need to know the facts as well.  Some people believe they will start dropshipping and within 3 months they will be sitting on a beach drinking umbrella drinks and watch the money roll in.  If this is your plan it might not be for you.  You can definitely make money Drop Shipping and it is a great way to boost your current golf cart shops sales, especially during the Holiday Season.

There are some things that you want to keep in mind before selling items with the intention of drop shipping them.  You want to research the part to find out what current competitors are selling similar items for.  Your margins will be lower selling online then if someone is buying from your brick and mortar store.  You also want to be aware of shipping.  Shipping can add up when you start selling larger, heavier items and you will want to be aware of that.  Finally, you will want to consider products that are relatively easy to install.  You don’t want to sell large expensive conversion kits online because these will only require you to offer troubleshooting assistance during the consumers installation.

I hope this helps you when determining what products to choose when selling online for us to drop ship for you.
