Golf Cart News Outlets

A few weeks ago, I went into detail on a new golf cart social app.  That made me think where does everyone get their golf cart news from?  There are so many ways to get information now but sometimes it is hard to filter out the good information from the not so good.  I thought it might be helpful to let you know where I get my information from and what publications and social platforms we monitor and maybe you will find one that could be useful to you.

Business to Business Outlets

Sometimes there is nothing better than having a product physically in your hands.  When you sit down to read a book just the feel of paging is so much more satisfying than just clicking a link.  We currently have two print magazines that we have delivered bimonthly.  Golf Car News and Golf Car Advisor.  These are both great magazines and offer many informative articles about the industry and showcases new articles about innovative products and suppliers.  These magazines are geared more to the golf cart dealers but also supply great golf cart news.

Business to Customer

Trying to protect the environment there are two magazines that we follow that offer their issues digitally and it is nice to quickly catch up on your phone or tablet.  You can also opt to get a printed version delivered to you for a fee of course.  These magazines focus on the dealers to customers, or customer custom builds.  This is nice to allow dealers to know what consumer trends are.   It also allows dealers to advertise right to their customers. They are Golf Car Options and Golf Carting Magazine.

Open to All – Social Media

There are so many ways to connect on social media and so many platforms to use.  I use Facebook, LinkedIn, and Instagram.  There are many people who use Twitter, but I have never been able to get into it I tried a few years ago to post for the company using it but just couldn’t.  There are also so many new outlets like TikTok, YouTube, and Snapchat but again it must be an age thing, but I just can’t get into them, and honestly, I don’t want to spread ourselves too thin by just posting on every social platform there is.  We will post to YouTube when we have videos that need to be shared but as for scheduled videos no.  We use our social media to follow our customers, our suppliers, and our competitors this gives us a nice feed of things that are trending and up to date on important news.  Feel free to follow us to see who they are because there are just too many to list here.

I hope this helps and if you use a different outlet that you think should be on our radar please let us know!
