Golf Tournament in Memory of Dennis Beinborn

It was with great sadness that we learned about the loss of Dennis due to COVID-19 this summer.  If you didn’t know Dennis, he worked in sales at Nivel Parts & Manufacturing for over 6 years.  I spoke to him regularly and he will be greatly missed.  He leaves behind his wife, daughter, and a special needs son.

Nivel contacted us because they are organizing a golf tournament to raise money for his family. We didn’t hesitate to participate by filling a sponsorship position to help.  The Golf Tournament will be held on September 25th at the Blue Sky Golf Club in Jacksonville, FL.  The event will feature 18 teams of 4 and the cost is $150/Individual or $600/Team.  The shotgun start is scheduled to start at 8:30am.  If you would like to participate or would like additional information, please contact Alina Niederer / Director of Marketing – Nivel: alina.niederer@nivel.com.

Golf Tournament in Memory of Dennis Beinborn

What is a Golf Tournament Shotgun Start?

Like a large majority of the parts we sell, very few of us at Stenten’s ever go on a golf course. So, we were a little confused as to what a shotgun start was and had to look it up.  A shotgun start is a concept in which all players in a tournament begin playing at the same time, but from a different place on the course.  Each player will start a different hole when the tournament begins and the players will continue along the course in order from the hole where they began.  It’s much more efficient than a tee time start and it is better because it allows all the golfers to finish around the same time for follow-up activities such as lunch & awards.

This tournament should be good fun and supports a great cause.  If you would like to participate or if you would just like to send a donation I urge you to contact Alina at Nivel.
